Sharon and Kelly Osbourne Celebrate Ozzy’s Legacy on 77th Birthday

Sharon and Kelly Osbourne commemorated the late Ozzy Osbourne on what would have been his 77th birthday, sharing heartfelt tributes on social media. The posts, made on December 2 and 3, 2023, reflect the deep affection and respect both women hold for the legendary rocker, who passed away earlier this year.

On December 3, Sharon Osbourne, aged 73, posted a video montage on her Instagram, which began with a tribute at the Black Sabbath Bridge in Birmingham, England. This memorial featured the words “Happy birthday, Ozzy” crafted from purple flowers. The video included various cherished photos from Ozzy’s life, set to his 1995 song “See You On the Other Side.” In her caption, Sharon expressed her love: “My darling husband, I celebrate the day you were born. I will never let go of your hand until I see you on the other side.”

Kelly Osbourne, aged 41, also shared her tribute a day earlier, featuring a video montage that highlighted her visit to the Black Sabbath Bridge. This montage combined family photos and home videos of her father. She captioned her post, “Happy birthday daddy you most certainly did not die an ordinary man!” Kelly added, “Life without you is hard, but not a day goes by that I don’t dedicate my life to loving you and your legacy! I miss you more than anything in the world. I love you until eternity! What I would not give to watch you blow out just one more candle 🕯️.”

In a further heartfelt message on December 3, Kelly shared another series of images from her childhood with Ozzy, captioning it with “Happy birthday I miss you daddy! 🎂 I love you more than life itself!”

Ozzy Osbourne’s passing was confirmed by his family in a statement earlier this year, stating, “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.” The family requested privacy during this difficult time. According to a death certificate obtained by The Sun, the cause was attributed to cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease, and Parkinson’s disease.

Sharon Osbourne recently shared insights about the support her family received following Ozzy’s death. During a November episode of the “Osbournes” podcast, she revealed that King Charles III reached out personally to express his condolences. “Our king, he’s an amazing person,” Sharon stated. “He took the time out of his day to write us, have it hand-delivered to us, a note from the king for Ozzy’s passing with his condolences. And that says so much.”

Sharon highlighted King Charles’s genuine concern for the public, saying, “Here’s a man who cares about the environment, animals. He cares about many, many, many things. He’s got a good heart.”

This birthday tribute illustrates the enduring impact of Ozzy Osbourne’s legacy not only in the music industry but within his family, who continue to honor his memory with love and gratitude. As both Sharon and Kelly reflect on their memories, they remind fans of the profound connection they shared with the iconic figure in rock music.
