Urgent: New Photos Released of Tucson Shooting Person of Interest

UPDATE: New photos have emerged of a man identified as a “person of interest” in a shocking shooting at a Tucson Goodwill donation center that left two workers critically injured. The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. on September 29, 2023, in the 7600 block of East Valencia Road, prompting urgent appeals from authorities for information.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department has just released additional images of the suspect in connection with this violent act. Both victims, who have not yet been officially named by the authorities, are receiving medical treatment and remain in critical condition.

One of the wounded individuals has been identified through social media efforts as Juan Cristobal Flores, a University of Arizona student and talented local opera singer. The church expressed its sorrow in a Facebook statement, emphasizing Flores’s significant contributions over the past decade. “Catalina United Methodist Church is shocked and deeply saddened by the news of the recent shooting involving Juan Cristobal Flores, a beloved member of our faith community,” the message read, highlighting his extraordinary talents and kind-hearted nature.

Investigators are actively seeking the public’s help in locating the person of interest, who is described as a male approximately six feet tall and weighing around 200 pounds. Accompanying the search is an image of a stolen vehicle, a white 2012 Volvo XC 90 with the Arizona license plate number C4A8Z4. Authorities caution that neither the individual nor the vehicle should be approached.
