BREAKING NEWS: Pam Francisco, a cherished figure in her community, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, at the remarkable age of 100. Born on April 3, 1925, in Cumberland, Wisconsin, Pam’s legacy of generosity and quiet strength resonates deeply with all who knew her.
Pam dedicated her life to helping others, most notably through her volunteer work at St. Luke’s Hospital. She hosted numerous Cub Scout meetings at her home and baked for countless community fundraisers, showcasing her commitment to service. Her passion for cooking was legendary; mealtime at Pam’s was a celebration of connection, tradition, and love.
Her extraordinary culinary talents, especially her beloved recipes and treats, brought joy and comfort to many. Even in her later years, Pam’s sharp wit and humor left a lasting impression, making her a beloved member of her community.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary (Lombard) Ricci, her cherished son, Craig Francisco, and twelve siblings. She is survived by her sons, Russ Francisco and Greg Francisco (wife Nancy), five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, as well as siblings George, John, Mary, and Gloria.
A celebration of Pam’s remarkable life is scheduled for November 1, 2025, at the Cremation Society in Duluth. Visitation begins at 11:00 AM, followed by a service at 12:00 PM. Attendees will gather for food and fellowship, honoring Pam’s spirit and the connections she fostered throughout her life.
