Craft Fair at Sunrise Senior Living Supports Alzheimer’s Association

A craft fair is set to take place on Saturday, November 1, from 14:00 to 17:00 at Sunrise Senior Living, located at 6 Beth Ave. in Leominster. This event aims to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association, showcasing a diverse collection of fall and holiday crafts that cater to various tastes and gift needs.

The fair will feature an assortment of handmade items, including magnets, jewelry, teacups, and more. Among the highlights are charming handmade knit pumpkins, which will be available for purchase at $5 each. Notably, all proceeds from the sale of these pumpkins will also be directed towards supporting the Alzheimer’s Association.

According to Lorrie Brodeur, one of the event organizers, the craft fair not only promises to offer unique gift options but also serves as a platform to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and the importance of community support in combating it.

Participants in the craft fair will have the chance to contribute to a meaningful cause while enjoying a vibrant atmosphere filled with creativity and community spirit. The event underscores the commitment of local residents and businesses to support those affected by Alzheimer’s, fostering a sense of unity and purpose.

The Alzheimer’s Association, recognized for its extensive research and advocacy efforts, plays a crucial role in enhancing care and support for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and their families. Events like this fair are vital in raising necessary funds to continue advancing research and providing essential resources.

This weekend’s craft fair not only represents an opportunity for holiday shopping but also highlights the significance of community engagement in addressing health issues that impact many families. Attendees are encouraged to come out, enjoy the crafts, and contribute to a worthy cause.
