The Cincinnati Reds, Kansas City Royals, and Milwaukee Brewers have renewed their local media rights agreements with the FanDuel Sports Network, ensuring coverage of their games through 2026. This announcement was made by Main Street Sports Group, which manages the FanDuel Sports Network, the largest holder of local sports media rights in the United States.
These renewals highlight the commitment to providing fans with high-quality broadcasts and multi-platform access. Fans will continue to enjoy games via cable, satellite, and vMVPD packages, as well as streaming services through the network’s direct-to-consumer app, available on iOS, Android, smart TVs, and Amazon Prime Video.
David DeVoe, President of Main Street Sports Group, expressed enthusiasm regarding the renewed partnerships. “These renewals reflect the confidence in what Main Street Sports Group set out to build: a local, innovative, fan-first multi-platform business that helps teams grow their audience while ensuring clarity and consistency for their fans,” he stated.
The 2025 MLB season marked a record year for FanDuel Sports Network, with an average of 1.5 million nightly viewers across its nine partner clubs. The network also noted a significant increase in streaming engagement, with total streaming up nearly 70% year-over-year. More than 900,000 unique fans accessed games through the app, resulting in over 2.8 billion minutes watched.
The executives from the three teams expressed their satisfaction with the partnership.
Rick Schlesinger, President of Business Operations for the Milwaukee Brewers, stated, “We’re proud to extend our partnership with FanDuel Sports Network as the broadcast home of the Milwaukee Brewers. This past season’s surge in viewership is a reflection of our fans’ passion and the growing accessibility of Brewers baseball.”
Phil Castellini, President & CEO of the Cincinnati Reds, emphasized the importance of dependable coverage. “It’s a priority to give Reds fans dependable coverage, great storytelling, and the ability to watch Reds baseball across a variety of platforms, and FanDuel Sports Network delivers all three,” he noted.
John Sherman, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Kansas City Royals, underscored the significance of connecting with fans. “There is nothing more important to us than connecting with and making our games available to our great fans. Our viewership is growing and continues to rank among the best in baseball both through linear cable and streaming,” he said.
The partnership between Main Street Sports Group and these teams not only enhances the viewing experience for fans but also aims to innovate the local sports media landscape. As they move forward, the focus remains on engaging a younger, digital-first audience while maintaining high standards in sports broadcasting.
