His leadership spanned multiple locations, including significant assignments in Louisville, KY, and Schenectady, NY.

Cote married his beloved wife, Sally, in July 1963. Together, they shared countless joyful moments, including their passion for sports. Cote was not only an athlete in his youth, playing three sports in high school and football in college, but he also dedicated time to coaching his late son, Brian, in little league and high school baseball. Later in life, he developed a love for golf, competing and enjoying rounds with family and friends.

A devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots, Cote made it a point to catch every game, showcasing his passion for sports throughout his life. He is survived by his sons, Andrew (Sydney) and Christopher (Julia), along with two great-grandchildren, Sunday and Archer, who brought him immense joy.

In accordance with Cote’s wishes, there will be no formal service. His family encourages memorial contributions in his name to The Foundation for Ellis Hospital, located at 1101 Nott Street, Schenectady, NY 12308.
