Wisconsin Woman Killed in Urgent Crash with Semi Truck in Minnesota

BREAKING: A tragic accident has claimed the life of a 34-year-old woman from La Crosse, Wisconsin, after a collision with a semi truck in Eyota Township, Minnesota, on November 21, 2025, at approximately 1:45 PM. The incident occurred at the intersection of County Road 7 and the Interstate 90 eastbound exit ramp, according to reports from the Minnesota State Patrol.

The victim, a passenger in a 2008 Chevrolet Impala, died at the scene. Her name will be released by authorities later tonight. The driver of the Impala, Johnathan Curtis Gerow, 41, from Hayward, Wisconsin, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was promptly transported to Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Marys for treatment.

The semi truck involved, a 2023 Freightliner, was driven by Daniel John Kalwasinski, 37, of Rochester, who thankfully was not injured in the crash. Emergency responders from the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Eyota Fire Department, Eyota Ambulance, and Mayo Clinic Ambulance rushed to the scene to provide assistance.
