High school basketball teams across the Acadiana region showcased their talent in a series of exciting matchups on March 15, 2024. The boys’ and girls’ teams delivered thrilling performances, with several schools achieving significant victories.

In the boys’ division, Acadiana triumphed over Beau Chene with a score of 71 to 57. ESA also secured a convincing win against Delcambre, finishing 62 to 30. New Iberia demonstrated their strength by defeating JS Clark 71 to 58, while David Thibodaux edged out Catholic-BR with a 54 to 47 victory.

Other notable results included Acadiana Renaissance’s narrow win over North Vermilion, concluding at 59 to 55. Northside managed to overcome Lafayette Christian with a final score of 62 to 57. Meanwhile, Marksville emerged victorious against Marksville, 60 to 30, and Erath secured a close win against Highland Baptist, 38 to 34.

The game between Washington-Marion and North Central saw a dominant performance from Washington-Marion, who won 80 to 47. Westminster-Lafayette also celebrated a close victory over Hackberry, ending at 61 to 59.
