Megan Thee Stallion Denounces Alleged Online Bot Attacks

Megan Thee Stallion has publicly addressed what she describes as a coordinated online attack against her, suggesting that paid bots are behind the negative comments. During a livestream over the weekend, the Houston rapper voiced her frustration over the wave of hostility directed at her, which she believes is not organic.

In a video shared by Live Bitez, Megan stated, “When I do peep online and see what y’all doing, I feel like y’all get so easily riled up and easily discouraged when y’all know people get paid to talk crazy about me.” She pointed out the suspicious nature of the criticism, asking her followers, “Like, don’t it seem a little weird how overwhelming a lot of Megan Thee Stallion hate seem? Like, it don’t seem right, do it?”

Megan elaborated on her belief that many of her detractors are not genuine fans but rather individuals being compensated to spread negativity. “These are bots, these are paid people,” she asserted. She provided an example, mentioning a user who has been tweeting about sports for years but suddenly began hurling insults at her. “Stop listening to them,” she urged her fans.

The rapper expressed confusion over the reasons for the backlash, stating, “What is there even to hate on? I don’t be doing that. I’ll be in the house with my man, with my dogs, watching anime, at the studio.” Her comments suggest that the criticism may also stem from judgments about her personal life.

Megan concluded her message by advising her followers to focus on more positive interactions. “When I give y’all something to cry about, cry about it, alright? Then we can start crying,” she said. “I ain’t gave y’all nothing to cry about yet. Fight back when it’s a reason to fight. We’re chilling right now, Hotties.”

In addition to addressing the online hostility, Megan also promoted her latest single, “Lover Girl,” which features lyrics inspired by her relationship with Klay Thompson. The track showcases a more intimate side of the rapper, reflecting her current happiness. In a notable line, she raps, “Your n**** fantasy, my man reality / I had to lock in when I found out he could handle me.”

Megan Thee Stallion’s candid remarks highlight the ongoing challenges public figures face with online harassment, particularly from what they believe to be orchestrated campaigns. As she continues to navigate her career, her ability to connect with her fans remains a priority.
