Carrot, a global fertility and family care platform, has announced a strategic partnership with ŌURA, the smart ring manufacturer, and Dexcom, a leader in glucose biosensing technology. This collaboration aims to create a groundbreaking approach to fertility and family-building through the integration of biometric data into Carrot’s metabolic-fertility program known as Sprints.
The partnership introduces a unique integration with Stelo by Dexcom, an FDA-cleared glucose biosensor that does not require a prescription. Enrolled members of Carrot will have access to combined data from the ŌURA smart ring and Stelo, enabling them to monitor essential biometrics while receiving expert clinical support tailored to their needs.
Innovative Insights for Fertility Health
The Sprints program is specifically designed to help members address fertility challenges linked to metabolic disorders, such as obesity, blood sugar irregularities, and sperm health issues. By leveraging data from wearable technologies, Carrot’s clinical teams, trained in interpreting data from both ŌURA and Stelo, can convert raw biometrics into personalized care plans based on evidence.
This integration delivers a comprehensive view of metabolic-fertility health, providing members and their healthcare teams with valuable insights into:
– Menstrual cycle patterns and identification of fertile windows
– Sleep quality and stress management
– Activity levels and glucose trends
For members in the pre-pregnancy phase, referred to as Premester, this visibility is crucial for improving health outcomes. They will also have the option to work with Carrot nutritionists while utilizing the ŌURA Meals feature, which offers real-time tracking of how lifestyle choices impact metabolic health and fertility.
Participants in the Sprints program will begin receiving ŌURA Ring devices and Stelos in November 2025, with full data integration between Carrot, ŌURA, and Dexcom expected to be operational in early 2026. This partnership lays the groundwork for expanding wearable technology support across all stages of life that Carrot addresses.
Expert Support Enhances Data Utilization
Hilary Bartlett, Chief Product Officer of Carrot, emphasized the importance of combining data with expert guidance. She stated, “Putting data in the hands of our members is an important first step, but it needs to be paired with actionable support from experts to improve health outcomes.”
This collaboration not only enhances the resources available to individuals seeking fertility assistance but also represents a significant advancement in how biometric data can inform health strategies. By integrating sophisticated technology with clinical support, Carrot, ŌURA, and Dexcom aim to redefine the landscape of fertility health management.
