Jean A. Bergman, aged 84, of Florida, formerly of Inver Grove Heights, passed away on December 16, 2025, following a brief battle with cancer. Her family has expressed their deep sorrow over her loss, highlighting her enduring spirit and the love she shared with those around her.
She is survived by her children, Ken Bergman (partner Lisa Blee) and Jeff Bergman (partner Jenny), along with her brother-in-law Ron Bergman of Washington and sister-in-law Judy Weber of North Carolina. Bergman leaves behind five grandchildren: Corey (partner Maddie), Tess (partner William), Max (partner Peyton), Devin, and Sophia, as well as a great-grandchild named Callen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Bergman, her parents, Gilbert and Leota Mannor, and her brothers Jack and Richard Mannor along with sister-in-law Joyce Mannor.

Born and raised in Acme, Michigan, Jean attended Michigan State University, where she developed a strong foundation for her future career. She dedicated many years to administrative roles, primarily with the Inver Grove Heights Police Department, where her contributions were valued by colleagues and the community alike.
Beyond her professional achievements, Jean was known for her profound love for her family. Her passion for golf and various arts and crafts became a cherished part of her life. She often engaged in crafting projects, which she not only enjoyed with her family but also donated to various charitable organizations, reflecting her generous spirit.
Jean’s family has chosen not to hold formal services in her memory. In lieu of flowers, they request that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, a cause close to her heart. Her legacy will undoubtedly endure through the many lives she touched and the memories shared with her loved ones.
