Tosca Theresa Pardini, a cherished matriarch and friend, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, at the age of 94. Surrounded by her loving family, Tosca’s final moments were marked by a poignant atmosphere, as the soft strains of Frank Sinatra’s “Fly Me to the Moon” played in the background. A ray of sunlight broke through the clouds, illuminating her face as she departed this life.
Born in San Francisco on May 7, 1931, Tosca carried the vibrant spirit of the city with her throughout her life. She later established her home in Ross, California, where she cultivated a life rich in family, tradition, and love. Tosca met her husband, Sergio Pardini, and the couple married on February 17, 1952, at Saints Peter and Paul Church in North Beach. Their 61 years of marriage were filled with adventure and a deep devotion that defined their journey together.
Tosca’s warmth, elegance, and quiet strength created a welcoming environment for all who entered her home. Proud of her Italian heritage, she passed down cherished traditions to her family. Known for her exceptional cooking, she will be particularly remembered for her famous lasagna and lobster thermidor. Alongside her culinary talents, Tosca had a flair for interior design, skillfully creating spaces that radiated comfort and beauty.
Traveling the world with Sergio, Tosca enjoyed life to the fullest. They were known for their dancing, bringing joy to every gathering. Her style and grace left a lasting impression on everyone she met, making her a true class act in every sense.
Tosca is survived by her three children: Mario Pardini, with wife Theresa; Paul Pardini, with wife Laurie; and Laura Ferjanec, with husband Shawn. She formed close connections with her grandchildren: Jenna Bottom and husband Jeff, Daniel Pardini and wife Carlie, Kimberly Horan and husband Mike, Lauren Baldwin and husband Nick, and Courtney Pardini. Her legacy continues through her great grandchildren: Kennedy and London Bottom, Elle, Liam, and Jaxson Pardini, Noah and Quinn Horan, and Shelby and Barrett Baldwin. Each of them brought her immense joy, and she will be profoundly missed by her family.
A memorial service will be held on November 22, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at Valley Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, located at 650 Bugeia Lane in Novato. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a cause close to their hearts.
