Boyertown Halloween Parade Draws Enthusiastic Crowd for 72nd Year

The 72nd annual Boyertown Halloween Parade took place on October 18, 2025, attracting a large crowd to the streets of Boyertown, Pennsylvania. This long-standing tradition, first held in 1912, showcased a vibrant array of floats and costumed participants from local businesses, organizations, and community groups.

Adriane Zapien, chairperson of the parade, expressed her satisfaction with this year’s event. “This was a great year. We even added the Get’z Steam Calliope to end the parade,” she noted. The inclusion of this musical addition provided a festive conclusion to the day’s celebrations, further enhancing the community spirit.

Throughout the parade, participants competed for various awards, with cash prizes awarded to the top entries in several categories. In the Best Float category, the H&K Group took home first place with their Titanic-themed float. The second and third places were awarded to Eddinger Propane for their Pumpkin Spice float and First Response Contracting for their Nightmare Before Christmas float, respectively.

Celebrating Creativity and Community Spirit

In the Most Creative Costume or Theme category, Laurie Bossler earned first place for her portrayal of the Boyertown Granny Club. The Miller Family and Dominic Danielle followed in second and third with their entries inspired by The Last of Us and Spooky Kids.
