Lori Ann Giefer, a cherished mother and grandmother from Eagan, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on March 18, 1959, in St. Paul, she was the daughter of William “Bill” and Bernise Giefer. Lori’s legacy of love and creativity remains in the hearts of her family and friends.
A graduate of Harding High School in 1977, Lori dedicated her life to her family. Her greatest joy stemmed from spending time with her children and grandchildren, whom she adored. Lori’s creative spirit was evident in her passions for crafting, cooking, and gardening. She often hosted gatherings where friends and family could come together, sharing laughter and warmth.
Lori’s enthusiasm for life extended to her support of the Minnesota Vikings, a team she cheered for passionately. Her grandchildren—Colette, Lily, Maverick, and Camden—were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Farewell and Celebration of Life
Lori is survived by her parents, William “Bill” and Bernise Giefer, her children, Charles “Andy” Reidell (Susy) and Laura Larson (James “JP”), along with her two brothers, Greg Giefer and Mike Giefer (Cindy). She also leaves behind several nieces and numerous dear relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at SUMMIT Funeral & Cremation, located at 6415 Carmen Ave. E, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076. Attendees are invited to share words of remembrance at 12:30 p.m.
Lori Ann Giefer’s memory will undoubtedly continue to be a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, creativity, and passion for family will be remembered fondly by many.
