Petit Soleil Cafe Relocates to Imola Avenue in Napa

Petit Soleil, a beloved café in Napa known for its breakfast and lunch offerings, is preparing to relocate to a new venue at 1000 Imola Avenue. This transition follows the café’s acquisition of the space formerly occupied by Huckleberry’s Breakfast and Lunch, which is located next to the Best Western Plus Inn at the Vines. The move from its original site at 1408 Clay Street aims to enhance visibility and accessibility for both local patrons and hotel guests.

Owner Trena Madrigal is actively working on the new location, although an official opening date has yet to be announced. Customers can look forward to the café’s familiar menu, which features a variety of breakfast and lunch items including pancakes, omelets, benedicts, sandwiches, burgers, salads, and a comprehensive coffee and espresso program.

Community Focus and Accessibility

Petit Soleil has long been a staple in the Napa community, serving both residents and visitors in the heart of the valley. The new location on Imola Avenue is strategically positioned to attract foot traffic from nearby hotels and residential areas. This move aligns with the café’s mission to provide quick, fresh, and approachable meals for breakfast and lunch, with options available for dine-in, takeout, or delivery.

The café’s menu showcases classic breakfast items available all day, such as bacon and eggs, scones, pancakes, and hash browns, in addition to a selection of sandwiches, burgers, and fresh salads for lunch. Petit Soleil emphasizes efficient service, catering to guests on the go while also partnering with third-party delivery services.

Owner’s Local Roots and Vision

Trena Madrigal has deep ties to Napa, having spent her entire life in the area. Her aspiration to own a restaurant was realized in 2023 when she took over ownership of Petit Soleil. Madrigal is dedicated to fostering a welcoming atmosphere that combines made-to-order meals with strong community ties.

The relocation represents an opportunity for Petit Soleil to better serve the local community and the influx of tourists visiting Napa Valley. By moving to Imola Avenue, Madrigal aims to create a vibrant gathering place for neighbors, travelers, and food enthusiasts to enjoy quality coffee and wholesome meals in a friendly setting.

As the café transitions from its original location on Clay Street, it remains committed to delivering fresh, flavorful offerings, reinforcing its position as a cherished spot within Napa’s dining scene.
