Patricia Lee Rodriguez, a devoted mother and community member, passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 82. Her life, marked by a profound Christian faith, served as an inspiration to many. Born on September 15, 1943, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, Patricia was raised by Frank T. Miller and Cathryn Miller, who instilled in her the values of faith and family.
Patricia’s spiritual journey began when she accepted the Lord into her heart in 1978. Despite a longstanding fear of water, she showcased her remarkable faith by waiting until 2006 to be baptized. This sacred moment was made even more special as she shared it with her six-year-old grandson, Brian. Her dedication to Christ was a defining aspect of her life, influencing everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
As a cherished member of her church community, Patricia took great joy in the milestones of her family. Among her happiest moments were the births of her grandchildren, particularly Brian, and the shared experience of their baptism. Patricia found immense joy in worshipping alongside her family, emphasizing the importance of faith in their lives.
Professionally, Patricia made her mark as a Senior Casualty Representative at AAA Insurance, where she worked for 28 years. Her reputation for excellence in her field earned her respect among her colleagues. After retiring, she continued to serve her church while pursuing hobbies such as crafts, travel, and golf.
Patricia leaves behind a loving family, including her daughter, Debbie (Danny) Evans; her son, Michael (Rita) Rodriguez; siblings Ruth Mota, Cathy Miller, and Bill Miller; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her beloved cat, Fancy. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers, Vernon and Frank.
The family expresses their gratitude for the love and prayers provided by the pastors and many friends within her church community. A celebration of her life is scheduled for January 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM at The Assembly of God Church in Chico, California. In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to the Butte Humane Society.
