Tosca Theresa Pardini, a beloved matriarch and friend, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was 94 years old. Her passing occurred on a somber, cloudy day in California, marked by a poignant moment when a ray of sunshine illuminated her face as the Frank Sinatra classic “Fly Me to the Moon” played softly in the background.
A Life Rich in Love and Tradition
Tosca was born at home in San Francisco on May 7, 1931. She carried the vibrant spirit of the city throughout her life. Later, she moved to Ross, California, where she built a family-oriented life filled with love and tradition. In a moment that defined her life, she met her husband, Sergio Pardini, and they married on February 17, 1952, at Saints Peter and Paul Church in North Beach.
The couple shared an inseparable bond for more than six decades, filled with adventure and deep devotion. Tosca was known for her warmth, elegance, and quiet strength, qualities that made her home a welcoming haven for family and friends. Proud of her Italian heritage, she lovingly passed down traditions that enriched her family’s life.
Traveling the world with Sergio, Tosca delighted in dancing and often brought joy to gatherings. Her sense of style made her stand out; she enjoyed dressing beautifully and enhanced the world around her with her elegance. Tosca was also an exceptional cook, renowned for her lasagna and unforgettable lobster thermidor, and she had a natural talent for interior design that created comfort and beauty in every space.
A Legacy of Love and Family
Tosca is survived by her three children: Mario Pardini and his wife Theresa, Paul Pardini and his wife Laurie, and Laura Ferjanec and her husband Shawn. As a cherished grandmother, she formed close and loving connections with her grandchildren: Jenna Bottom and her husband Jeff, Daniel Pardini and his wife Carlie, Kimberly Horan and her husband Mike, Lauren Baldwin and her husband Nick, and Courtney Pardini. Her great-grandchildren—Kennedy and London Bottom, Elle, Liam, and Jaxson Pardini, Noah and Quinn Horan, and Shelby and Barrett Baldwin—brought her immense joy.
Tosca leaves behind a family that adored her, who will forever hold her memory close. Although she is no longer present, her spirit will continue to guide and comfort her loved ones.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on November 22, 2025, at Valley Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, located at 650 Bugeia Lane, Novato. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
As her family remembers her, they honor the legacy of a true class act whose presence enriched the lives of everyone she encountered. May her memory be a blessing and may she rest in eternal peace.
