This initiative aims to equip senior executives in both the public and private sectors with the knowledge to harness artificial intelligence (AI) effectively, fostering a sustainable and competitive future for the nation.
The NEXUS AI program, or Network for Executive Xceleration & Unbounded Scale, builds on the success of its inaugural cohort, which garnered an enthusiastic response from over 50 top executives in various sectors. The positive feedback demonstrates a growing recognition among Thai leaders of the necessity to embrace AI in organizational management and policymaking.
Strengthening AI Capabilities Among Thai Leaders
Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, emphasized the importance of the NEXUS AI Batch 2 launch, stating that it represents a pivotal advancement in enhancing Thai leadership capabilities during a time of rapid global technological change. He noted, “Today, AI is no longer a ‘competitive advantage’—it is a ‘necessity.’ Countries that can strategically develop and apply AI will be able to create added value and significantly enhance their competitiveness.”

Associate Professor Dr. Manoj Lohatepanont, the Program Chair, explained that Batch 2 has been designed with increased intensity, incorporating feedback from the first cohort to ensure a more comprehensive understanding of AI among participants.
