Four Contestants Face Off in Semifinals of The Road

The semifinals of The Road concluded with a dramatic twist as one contestant was eliminated, leaving three to compete for the title. The show, hosted by country music star Keith Urban, featured intense performances and unexpected challenges at two iconic Nashville venues, the Bluebird Café and Marathon Music Works.

Contestants Adam Sanders, Britnee Kellogg, Cassidy Daniels, and Channing Wilson showcased their talents in front of a live audience, delivering solo performances that aimed to impress both fans and judges. The evening included a collaborative segment where Adam and Britnee paired up to sing “Keep Your Hands to Yourself” by The Georgia Satellites, while Channing and Cassidy performed “Jackson,” a classic by Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash.

Following the performances, the audience vote led to the elimination of Britnee Kellogg. The 40-year-old contestant from Anthem, Arizona, expressed her disappointment but also reflected on the transformative nature of her experience. “This experience has been life changing,” she said. “It’s been incredible. Of course, for a 40-year-old like me, this is my only opportunity, so it’s sad. I am going to continue playing shows and being a mama and continue to inspire other moms to do the same.”

Keith Urban acknowledged the competitive atmosphere, stating, “The audience were great tonight, they really responded, but it is a Nashville audience, so their standards are pretty high. Obviously, the voting reflected that. Based on the audience votes, unfortunately, Britnee, Marathon Music Works is your final stop.”

With Britnee out of the competition, Adam, Cassidy, and Channing remain in the race for the top prize. The winner of The Road will earn a performance slot at the Stagecoach festival, a recording contract, and a cash prize of $250,000.

Fans can catch the exciting finale of The Road, which airs on Sunday nights at 9 PM EST, with episodes available for streaming on Paramount+ the following day. As the competition heats up, viewers are eager to see who will take home the coveted title and the opportunities that come with it.
