Scotland Dominates USA 85-0; Graham Matches Try-Scoring Record

In a commanding display of rugby, the Scotland national team defeated the United States 85-0 at Murrayfield Stadium on Saturday. This match marked a historic achievement for Scotland, as they not only secured their highest-ever score at the venue but also their third-highest score overall. The team scored an impressive 13 tries, complemented by 10 successful conversions.

Darcy Graham played a pivotal role in the victory, scoring three tries, which allowed him to equal teammate Duhan van der Merwe‘s record of 34 career tries. Alongside Graham, scrum-half Jamie Dobie also contributed significantly, with three tries to his name. Van der Merwe added two tries to the tally, while Dylan Richardson, Kyle Rowe, captain Stafford McDowall, Ollie Smith, and George Horne each scored as well, with Horne contributing 15 points through his kicking.

The match was particularly notable as it was the United States’ first visit to Murrayfield in 25 years.
