Comcast has officially opened a new Xfinity retail store in Eastern Henrico, located at 4420 South Laburnum Avenue, Suite 204, in the Laburnum Park Shopping Center. The grand opening celebration took place on February 20, 2024, and featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony along with prize giveaways for attendees.
The new store provides an opportunity for customers to explore a variety of broadband, mobile, and home technology offerings through interactive displays. Tyrone Nelson, Henrico County Varina District Supervisor, expressed enthusiasm about the store’s opening, stating, “We’re thrilled to see Comcast open a new Xfinity Store in Henrico’s East End, making it even more convenient for Greater Richmond residents to experience the latest innovations in broadband, mobile technology, and more.”
Ray Roundtree, senior vice president of Comcast’s Beltway Region, highlighted the company’s commitment to the Richmond area. “We’re excited to welcome our Richmond neighbors to the new Xfinity Store,” he said. “This new store reflects our ongoing investment in the Richmond community and our commitment to keeping people connected to what matters most.”
Comprehensive Offerings and Accessibility
In addition to residential services, the store will facilitate consultations with Comcast Business representatives, allowing customers to assess their connectivity, cybersecurity, and managed service needs. This aspect of the store aims to enhance support for local businesses seeking reliable technology solutions.
The Laburnum Park location joins several other Xfinity retail stores in the Richmond region. Notable nearby stores include those on West Broad Street in Henrico, Arthur Ashe Boulevard in Richmond, Midlothian Turnpike in Chesterfield, and Temple Avenue in Colonial Heights.
Customers can visit the new location from Monday to Saturday between 10:00 and 20:00, as well as on Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00. With this opening, Comcast continues to reinforce its presence in the Richmond market, further enhancing accessibility to its array of services for both residential and business customers.
