Matthew Rios, aged 38, was apprehended early Tuesday morning, July 15, 2023, as authorities executed a search warrant at his residence on the 2000 block of Fairfield Avenue.
Around 7:00 a.m., the Solano County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Sheriff’s Enforcement Team, Vacaville PD, and Benicia PD, converged on the location as part of a continuing investigation into child exploitation. During the operation, detectives uncovered multiple electronic devices, which will undergo forensic analysis to assess the extent of the material found.
Rios is currently detained at the Solano County Justice Center Detention Facility on a $25,000 bail and faces a felony charge for his alleged actions.
