BREAKING: Florida has just allocated over $1.8 million to bolster immigration enforcement in collaboration with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The largest share of the funding, totaling $1 million, has been awarded to the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is set to receive $606,151, while smaller allocations have been made to sheriff’s offices in Jacksonville, Putnam County, and Bradford County.

Meanwhile, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has reported 545 arrests related to deportation efforts.
