Hawaii Child Rape Fugitive Arrested in Massachusetts by U.S. Marshals

URGENT UPDATE: A fugitive wanted for child rape in Hawaii has been arrested in Worcester, Massachusetts. Coleen Kuamo`o, also known as Malama Kuamo`o, age 43, was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals after authorities confirmed she was hiding in the Bay State.

This arrest comes after Kuamo`o was charged in Hawaii with one count of sexual assault in the first degree, three counts of sexual assault in the third degree, and one count of using a computer in the commission of a crime. She allegedly assaulted a child in Wailuku, Hawaii.

“Anyone who thinks they can flee across the country to avoid facing justice is mistaken,” said Kevin Neal, Acting U.S. Marshal for Massachusetts. “The U.S. Marshals Service is committed to ensuring fugitives face justice – no matter where they run.”

Authorities in Hawaii contacted the Massachusetts Marshals Service after tracking Kuamo`o’s suspected whereabouts. Marshals located her on Thursday and executed her arrest, emphasizing their relentless pursuit of fugitives.

In a related note, the Boston Police Department reported a busy weekend with 299 incidents logged between 10 a.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday. This included two robberies, six aggravated assaults, and multiple vehicle thefts, highlighting ongoing public safety concerns in the city.
