URGENT UPDATE: A tragic single-vehicle crash in Ross County, Ohio, has left one juvenile dead and three others seriously injured. The accident occurred early this morning, just after 7:30 a.m., on Black Run Road, approximately one mile west of State Route 772.
According to reports from the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP), the driver, Christian Griesheimer, 27, of Chillicothe, was behind the wheel of a 2020 Toyota Corolla carrying four juveniles when the vehicle veered off the road. The car collided with roadside objects, including a tree and a concrete retaining wall.
All five occupants were rushed to Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. Tragically, one juvenile passenger was pronounced dead upon arrival. Meanwhile, Griesheimer and two other juveniles sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving medical care.
Emergency services from multiple local agencies, including the Ross County Sheriff’s Office and fire departments from Bainbridge, Huntington Township, Union Township, Scioto Township, and the Veterans Affairs Fire Department, responded to the scene.
