UPDATE: A tragic incident unfolded in Longmont, Colorado, as a man was struck and killed while crossing Main Street on the evening of October 19, 2023. Authorities confirmed they received reports of the accident at approximately 8:50 p.m. in the 1600 block of Main Street.
Witnesses indicated that a vehicle was traveling south in the outside lane when the pedestrian attempted to cross from east to west. Longmont Police responded “within seconds,” as stated by police spokesperson Rogelio Mares, and provided immediate medical assistance to the victim.
