URGENT UPDATE: Philz Coffee has just opened its first-ever drive-thru location in Northern California, a game-changing addition for coffee lovers! The new store in Pleasanton, located at 1803 Santa Rita Rd, officially opened its doors last week, marking a significant milestone for the popular coffee chain.
This innovative drive-thru offers a convenient way for customers to enjoy their favorite pour-over coffee without leaving their vehicles. While the location welcomes 35 seated guests inside, the real highlight is the drive-thru lane, designed to efficiently serve customers on the go. Philz Coffee is known for its quality, but now patrons can grab their brews even faster.
The exterior of the new shop is adorned with stunning custom murals by local artist Lauren Cooper, featuring tributes to iconic sites like Pleasanton Ridge and the historic downtown arch. These artistic touches aim to celebrate the community and create a visually striking atmosphere for both drive-thru and walk-in customers.
Philz Coffee currently operates 79 locations across the country, with this being only the second store to include a drive-thru feature. Customers can now experience the convenience of a drive-thru for their beloved pour-over coffee, which typically takes a few minutes to brew.
The Pleasanton location is open Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and weekends from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., making it a perfect stop for early risers and weekend coffee enthusiasts.
This expansion reflects Philz Coffee’s commitment to adapting to customer needs and enhancing accessibility. Expect long lines as the community embraces this new way to enjoy their favorite brews.
Stay tuned for updates on how this innovative drive-thru model will influence the coffee industry and customer experiences in the region!
