Prince Andrew Accused of Bringing Prostitutes to Buckingham Palace

A controversial report has emerged detailing allegations against Prince Andrew, the former Duke of York, claiming he brought prostitutes into Buckingham Palace. According to historian Andrew Lownie, author of “Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York,” these activities occurred regularly over the years, with knowledge of the incidents reportedly reaching Queen Elizabeth II.

Lownie shared his insights during an interview with Paula Froelich on NewsNation, stating, “He brought in prostitutes to Buckingham Palace for years.” The historian noted that staff members had raised concerns about the situation, but their complaints were largely ignored. “The security that complained were told, ‘If you would like to go back on the beat Brixton, you have that choice, but otherwise you keep quiet,’” he added. This apparent disregard for staff concerns raises questions about accountability within the royal household.

As new revelations come to light, former palace employees are beginning to speak out about the alleged behavior of Prince Andrew, also known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. Lownie indicated that many individuals who previously felt intimidated are now willing to share their experiences, given that Andrew has been stripped of his royal titles and is no longer protected by the monarchy. “I am getting more and more information every day from people who worked at the Palace and in the government,” he stated.

In a separate discussion on the “Deep Dive” podcast with Sarah Vine, Lownie mentioned a particularly shocking incident involving Prince Andrew, claiming that he once had as many as 40 prostitutes delivered to his hotel in Thailand. This assertion adds to the mounting scrutiny surrounding the prince, especially in light of his recent fall from grace.

On November 3, 2022, King Charles formally removed Andrew’s titles, including “His Royal Highness,” amidst ongoing allegations related to his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. One of Epstein’s victims, Virginia Giuffre, who tragically died by suicide in April 2023, alleged in her memoir “Nobody’s Girl” that she was coerced into sexual encounters with Andrew when she was just 17 years old.

In the days preceding the release of Giuffre’s memoir, Andrew announced his decision to relinquish his titles, stating, “In discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family.” This statement reflects a significant shift in Andrew’s public persona and his acknowledgment of the controversies that have plagued him.

As the fallout from these allegations continues, Buckingham Palace has been approached for comment but has not yet provided a response. The unfolding situation raises further questions about the royal family’s handling of sensitive issues and accountability within its ranks.
